Success Mantra : Utilise your inner resources
-Adwaita Mohapatra
All of us aspire for a successful life, but only some of us achieve it.
When we find some people growing and becoming successful, we
become curious about the formula of success. Actually, there is no
proven formula for being a successful person. Everybody can be
successful by simply utilising his internal resource gifted by the Al-
mighty.
God is so beautiful in his creation. Every creation is different in his
quality and beh.aviour. Also, the inner resource gifted to each human
being is special. For that reason, there is a unique opportunity for
everyone to be recognised with his specific quality and become suc-
cessful. But most of the time we cannot recognise the gift and re-
main unfocused on our strength. We fail to focus in one particular
area which can be enriched by our internal power. We must have a
unidirectional movement which will lead to the destination of suc-
cess
There is a little story how Vivekananda taught a group of boys the
simplicity of success. Once Vivekananda was sitting by a river and
watching the natural beauty. At the same time, some boys were play-
ing with balloons. They were throwing the balloons into the river and
shooting at them. But they were not successful in hitting any balloon.
Vivekananda went to the children and asked why they were not suc-
cessful. One of the boys told Vivekananda that aiming at and shoot-
ing at a moving object was very difficult, if not impossible.
Vivekananda told them that it might not be too difficult as climbing a
mountain. The boys joked with Vivekananda and said how could a
monk know about the difficulty of shooting? One of the boys asked
whether Vivekananda could shoot the balloon. Vivekananda picked
up a revolver and took his aim. The boys were awestruck when they
saw that Vivekananda shot the balloons.
When they asked about the 'mystery', Vivekananda said, "It was easy
for me because I focussed all my concentration on the balloons. I
could not see and think of any other thing." So, the lesson: Focus and
Achieve.
