by the intellect. If the intellect is not pure,
sincere and genuine, it will be difficult to
control the mind. Only pure thoughts help the
mind to stay restrained.
In the presence of knowledge, ignorance
vanishes in the same way as does darkness
in the presence of light. Similarly, when
knowledge asserts, the ignorance, sins,
unrighteousness, and vices are kept at bay.
