become due for change, so is the case with
our body. As we change our old clothes, so
does the soul change the body. The soul
changes the body in accordance with the
actions of the doer. As are the actions, so is
the new form of life. Nobody can do anything
about it. It is the inviolable law. The devil, the
human, the god — these are, so to say, the
three situations. If a man engages himself in
good deeds, charity, service, and reverence
to the supreme power, he becomes god or
deity. If he indulges in sinning, all kinds of
wrongdoings, he becomes a devil. It all
depends on a man's actions and his aim of life.
"For a wise man, death is bliss. But for
the unwise, it is pain and sorrow. The self-
knowing person is neither sad nor worried at
the sight of death. He knows well that he will
have the form of life allotted to him in
