TW9.:
One should not discard food (or food grains)' whether it be
of superior or of inferior quality. This should be the vow of
every one. The liquid substance in the body is purely food
(i.e. made of food) and the fire (heat) of the stomach is the
consumer of food. The liquid substance exists in the stomach
fire. In this way food exists in food, and he who knows food
thus established, he lives long, possessed of large quantity food
(or food grains), and becomes the enjoyer there of ; and
becomes great in progeny, cattle-wealth, radiance of holiness
(resulting from devotion to God) and glory.
