Ugra≈ tat patyate ‹ava indro aΔga.
Dear friend, it is Indra, creator of energy, vitality
and the joy of soma, who, for the sake of many does
special favours to you and makes you shine, and it is
he, again, who controls violent force, that which could
be anywhere. (Rg. 1-84-9)

Dear friend, when would Indra, lord of wealth,
power and justice, shake the miserly, uncreative,
ungenerous and selfish person like a weed? Who
knows? And would he listen to our prayers? Any time!
