Pratna≈ p∂yμu¶a≈ pμurvya≈ yad ukthya≈maho
gåhåd diva å nir adhuk¶ata. Indram abhi
jåyamåna≈ sam asvaran.
That nectar of divinity, eternal and adorable,
which the ancient sages distilled from the mighty great
and infinite heaven of light, and which they perceived
rising for the soul while they sang in adoration, that
same nectar, O Soma, may shower on us too, we pray.

adorable presence worthy of attainment, and some
divinely blest lovers of the life sustainer Soma who
adore and exalt him, these reveal the mystery and
