svåm. Kavir vipreƒa våvædhe.

Agni, omniscient visionary of existence, gracious

and refulgent in self-identity by virtue of ancient and

eternal light of knowledge and age-old songs of the poet,

is exalted along with the celebrant. (Rg. 8-44-12)
