mental teachings of the Quran. No sensible person will
-deny that one rational way of bringing about this result
-is to make quite apparent, in quite an undisguised form,
the fallacies of such beliefs to the mental view of the common
man. We trust no informed Muslim will be so foolhardy
as to characterise it a'; "attacking," Prophet Mohammed or
the
"Ancient Religioe"
which he preaches in the Duran.
Humanity has an inherent right, to demand every elass
-of its members, including the Musalmans, to purify and
transform the bases of their susceptibilities, the springs of
their emotional stimulus, wherever these bases or springs
have been found to act as Chint,. Wall to the moral null
spiritual advancement mid social freedom and well-being of
humanity as a whole, —wherever their natural disposition and
character have been known to wort as forces of violence,
carnage, depredation, profanation and reaction. What makes
