Arya Anathalay Pataudi House

(Ashram)

Arya orphanage and its sister institutions are pioneer in the field of child welfare, looking after the care upbringing and education of more than 1100 orphan boys and girls, in two big complexes – one in Pataudi House, Darya Ganj and other in Des Raj Campus, East of Kailash, New Delhi. Arya Orphanage was established in the year 1918 by Swami Shraddhanand who was renowned social worker and freedom fighter. After him late Shri Des Raj Chaudhary took over as President of Arya Orphanage in the year 1950, phenomenal progress was achieved and when he breathed his last in November, 1983, Arya Orphanage had grown into a tree and its sister organisations had already established themselves as the premier institution of the capital for the welfare of orphan and destitute boys and girls.
